Some functions on our website, including online booking and intake, are delivered through third‑party service providers such as Clio Grow. This policy explains when those tools are used and how information is handled in those circumstances.

3. No lawyer‑client relationship


Using our website, submitting a contact form, or booking an appointment does not create a lawyer‑client relationship.


A lawyer‑client relationship is only formed once:

  • You have received written confirmation of a retainer.


4. Online booking and intake 


Our website uses Clio Grow, an online legal intake and appointment scheduling platform provided by Themis Solutions Inc. (Clio).


Clio may use affiliated service providers and authorized subprocessors to support the delivery, security, maintenance, and improvement of its services. These service providers may process personal information on Clio's behalf in accordance with contractual privacy, confidentiality, and security obligations. Clio maintains a current list of its authorized subprocessors, which may change from time to time.


Clio may also use artificial intelligence ("AI") technologies to support certain features within its platform. In doing so, Clio may engage authorized third-party service providers that assist in delivering those features. According to Clio, these providers are subject to contractual confidentiality, privacy, and security obligations. Clio states that client data processed through these services is not sold and is not used to train third-party public AI models. Clients can review Clio's current subprocessor list and related disclosures through Clio's published privacy and trust resources.


When you book a consultation or submit information through our booking page:

  • Your information is collected and processed through Clio Grow
  • The information is used to schedule appointments, manage intake, and communicate with you


Clio Grow acts as a service provider to Resonance Law and processes personal information on our behalf in accordance with its own privacy practices and security measures.

Personal information collected through our website and through Clio Grow is stored and processed in Canada.


Clio Grow is provided by Themis Solutions Inc. (Clio), which offers Canadian data residency for Canadian law firms. Personal information submitted through our booking and intake tools is stored on servers located in Canada and protected using industry‑standard security measures.


Clio may engage authorized service providers, including providers that support AI-enabled functionality. Some of these providers may process information outside Canada. Where this occurs, personal information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions and accessible to governmental authorities in accordance with applicable law.


We remain responsible for personal information handled on our behalf by service providers.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information we handle.
